What is invisalign?

invisalign

Invisalign is a well designed and discreet way of achieving your perfect smile without the hindrance of the visible metal components of conventional braces.

A enchanting smile is the heart of a charming person and, even though subjective, still follows a recipe where the ingredients are mixed together in harmony,  Please go to the following link to read more about our philosopy on the ‘The golden proportions of a smile

How does invisalign work?

  • Invisalign uses a series of plastic aligners that move your teeth sequentially. The first aligner matches the position of teeth at the start of treatment and the last aligner matches your teeth in their final position
  • Every aligner is worn for 2 weeks and the number of aligners needed to complete the treatment indicates the length of the treatment, i.e. if invisalign has provided 20 aligners, the treatment can last 40 weeks (20 aligners x 2 weeks)
  • Aligners must be worn for 22 hours everyday, only being removed for eating, drinking and brushing your teeth.

How long does invisalign treatment take?

This will depend on the number of aligners needed to move your teeth in the desired position. As a guide, in extremely minor cases, it is possible for the treatment to last less than 6 months. For more severe cases, it might last more than 18 months.
